The Eucharistic Movement
The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement
- Rooted in the Apostolate Prayer, Originated in France 1915
- Established in Viet Nam 1929, formation in 1964 as Eucharistic Youth Movement, and Approved by the Bishops Conference of Viet Nam in 1971
- Migration to developed countries starting with USA and reformed in 1984
- Spread out to Canada establishment in 2011
- Australia
- France
The purposes:
- To educate and train youths in becoming a better person as well as an excellent Christian
- To organize and to guide all youths in spreading the Good News of the Gospel and to actively be involved in working for the good of society through charitable services and helping others.
Build on the Foundation of:
The Scriptures and the teaching of the Catholic Church as the basis for educating and guiding the youth in its activities.
